How bad is, ‘Awaken my Love’ ?

Childish Gambino's new album, “Awaken My Love” Is honesty getting a lot of negative reviews that it deserves. I’m a Childish Gambino fan. I loved, “Because the Internet” and “Camp” but the opening of this album was terrible, only 2 minutes long into the song, I thought I was listening to 60s funk music. As an artist he did a complete 180 and I don’t like it .

 

I’m not going to lie I was a little hyped about this album and I am completely let down. It all sounds like 60s funk music.I could not find one positive thing to say about the album but the cover art is nice. I did not like this album at all and it was a struggle to listen to and get though the alblum.It all sounds the same and i was hoping for him to bring a new and diffrent sound to the rap game, but everyhting on this album sounds the same. This album is not even classified as a rap album it is classified as a soul/R&B album.The bottom line is i’m very let down.
