Youtube Red Vs Apple Music

By Keegan Arthur

Many people use a music streaming service to listen to music. Most people use Apple Music or Spotify. I’m currently using both to see what I think is better. Apple Music comes in at $10 a month and Spotify's top end is $10 a month. Youtube is a little bit more at $12 a month but you get what you pay for. With Youtube Red you don't just get free music, but you also get ad free youtube videos and a free account to google play music.

Youtube Red Has a higher selection of songs because they can get through copyright laws. If you like music with samples or underground music, this is something Red has that Apple Music doesn't have, the capability to do so right now. Apple music does have some exclusives where they will get some albums a month early, but it doesn't take long for music to get leaked to youtube. Any and every song you can think of is on Youtube. Apple Music is limited and has a smaller library, Spotify has a pretty good sized library I was impressed with it but Youtube’s selection of music is the best.

I'm currently thinking of discontinuing my Apple Music subscription and switching to Youtube Red. I would like to persuade you to try the month free trial to Youtube Red and see if you want to switch.
