Is the New Supra Actually a Supra?

Toyota had announced they are going to release a new Supra in 2018 based off the Toyota ft1 concept car. There have been leaked pictures of the car all over the Internet I would like to say it looks nice, but it does not look like a Supra in the front it looks more like a Lexus in the front but in the back it has that same Supra look.

 

This car will also have BMW involved so people are hoping it's not another i8, but rumors of a hybrid drive-train keep circulating and I hope there not true. As far as engines go, it probably will have a v6 sadly we will not get another legendary 1jz or 2jz Supra inline 6 cylinder.

 

Toyota has promised between 300-400 horsepower so it makes me wonder if there is a turbo involved or maybe twin turbos like the mk4 Supras. It will have full leather interior like the past supras. Its price point is between 50-60k, which puts it in Dodge Challenger Hellcat territory. If this Supra is anywhere near as good as the last ones, it should be a good car.
