School Shooting

A school shooting is a form of mass shootings involving a gun attack on an educational institution, such as a school or university. The U.S Secret Service defines them as shootings that are “deliberately selected as the location for the attack”. These shootings have sparked a political debate about gun violence, zero tolerance policies and gun control.
There was recently something similar at The Ohio State University here in Ohio, but instead a knife was involved. The man with the knife drove his car into a group of OSU students and once he got out he began to swing the knife at the student. There were 8 people rushed to the hospital, 1 person had a fractured skull. The man was shot and killed by a OSU police officer.
According to the gun violence Archive, 136 mass shootings happened in the first 164 days of this year. In a mass shooting at least 4 or more people must die for it to be considered a “mass shooting”.
