What Makes the World Go Around

Society is very influenced by sex, money, and drugs. This new generation is so used to doing the things and activities that their parents say are no good, but social media says not to give a single care and “let go.” I don’t think teenagers today give a lot of thought to the consequences that result from some of the decisions they make. Even I didn't think about them for a long time and I blamed my mistakes on others. I kept making excuses; saying, “I’m learning” and, “I won’t do it again.”

 

Even though some mistakes may not be as severe as others they all show how sometimes this country forgets the importance of educating young teens. Teenagers need to know how to make future plans and how easily those plans can change due to one mistake. Money, sex, and drugs can definitely steer very driven kids into doing things they’d never imagined they would and loosen priorities, morals, and standards. The next generation will change the world for sure. The real question is, "Will this change will be for the better or worse?".
